Lunar Poetry Podcast

I met Lunar Poetry’s David Turner at a gig at the legendary Half Moon in Putney late last year.

This is what the crowd at the Half Moon does when poets get on stage… (well, poets with guitars and a mixing desk!)

David is a bit of a polymath, having worked as a performer, an artist, a joiner and (this is my favourite) a bronze caster in the recent past. He’s working on an amazingly inventive theatrical spoken word show which is about silence and break-ups… if you ask him nicely he might just show you what it is all about.

I love chatting about poetry, especially over several cups of tea and in the dubious comfort of my boat so started bouncing off the walls with excitement when David asked if I would be interviewed for Lunar Poetry’s new podcast series.

Atmospheric creaking 100% genuine!
